First, the honest answer: there is no single "GNM merit list"
In Bihar, government and private GNM seats in state counselling are filled through BCECEB's DCECE (Para Medical, PM) examination. Its result is not one public merit list. Each candidate gets a personal rank card, and after every counselling round the board publishes a seat allotment result and an opening and closing rank list. Those PDFs are the closest thing to a merit list.

Rules from the notice that candidates miss
- Choice filling is one-time. A candidate who did not fill choices before the first round is not given another chance to fill choices for the later rounds.
- Document verification is compulsory — even if you opted for an upgrade. Every allotted candidate must verify documents at the reporting centre by the date on the allotment order. Miss it and the seat is cancelled, and you are out of the next round.
- If you are upgraded, report to the new seat on time. When a seat is upgraded in Round 2, the Round 1 seat is released — not reporting to the new seat leaves you with neither.
- No seat in Round 1? You stay in line for the next round.
Documents for verification
As listed in the notice — originals plus one self-attested copy each:
- 10th admit card, marksheet and certificate (date-of-birth proof), and your 12th documents as listed in the prospectus
- DCECE-2026 admit card, and 6 extra copies of the photograph used on it
- Caste, residence and character certificates; SMQ, EWS or disability (DQ) certificates where claimed
- Aadhaar card copy, and the online application confirmation page (hard copy)
- DCECE(PM)-2026 rank card and your choice slip
- Provisional allotment order (3 copies); check slip (2 copies) with the biometric form
No seat — or rank too far back? There is still a route
DCECE is not the only way into GNM. Private colleges in Bihar also admit students directly on 12th marks, without an entrance rank — the eligibility rules (12th with English, minimum age 17, medical fitness) stay the same. At CSNC, admissions for session 2026–27 are open: how direct admission works · year-wise fees.
