What It Costs to Apply

Course groups applied forGeneral feeDisability quota (DQ)
One group₹ 750₹ 480
Two groups₹ 850₹ 530
All three groups₹ 950₹ 630

This is the examination and counselling fee payable to BCECEB. It is not a college fee. CSNC's own fees are published year-wise here.

Where these numbers come from

Every figure on this page is taken from the official BCECEB documents for DCECE(PM)–2026: the prospectus (seat annexures 3.1C and 3.1D) and the published First Round Opening and Closing Rank list, with the Round 1 allotment result dated 11 August 2026. Cut-offs change every year and later rounds go deeper than Round 1, so always check the current notification on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The prospectus also states that seat numbers are shown on the previous year's basis and may change at counselling.

The Five Steps of the Application

The BCECEB portal takes you through the form in stages: registration (your mobile number and email are verified with a code, and you receive a registration number and password), the multi-step form (course group, personal information, contact details, educational information, then photo and signature upload), preview and final submit, fee payment, and finally downloading your confirmation page and fee receipt. Keep the confirmation page and receipt safely — you will need them later.

Counselling and Seat Allotment

After the result you take part in counselling: registration for counselling → choice filling → choice locking → seat allotment → reporting to the allotted college for document verification, medical fitness check and fee payment. Counselling runs in rounds, and seats left vacant flow into the later rounds and finally a mop-up round.

One thing candidates rarely have explained to them: the allotment list shows how each seat was charged — “against UR seat” when you got it on open merit, “jump over” when you moved onto your own category's seat, or a “compensation seat”. That is why two candidates with similar ranks can end up at different colleges.

Reservation Applied in Bihar Counselling

CategoryShare of seats
Unreserved (UR)40%
Extremely Backward Class (EBC)18%
Scheduled Caste (SC)16%
Backward Class (BC)12%

In addition, 5% of seats are reserved for Divyang (disability) candidates certified with at least 40% disability — counted inside the total seats, not over and above — and a servicemen quota (SMQ) applies where the prescribed certificate is produced.

Finding Chanchal Suman Nursing College in Your Choice List

When you fill your choices, look for Chanchal Suman Nursing College, Phulwariya, Mahua, Vaishali in the private GNM list. The college is listed there with 30 GNM seats through DCECE counselling. If you cannot find it on the portal, call us on 87093 60236 and we will walk you through the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the DCECE 2026 dates?
For DCECE 2026 the online registration ran from 19.03.2026 to 21.04.2026, with fee payment up to 22.04.2026 (11:59 pm), form editing on 23-24.04.2026, admit cards on 15.05.2026, and the Para Medical (PM) examination on 24.05.2026. The First Round seat allotment result was published on 11.08.2026.
What is the DCECE application fee?
As printed in the DCECE 2026 prospectus, the examination and counselling fee is Rs 750 for one course group, Rs 850 for two groups and Rs 950 for all three groups. For candidates under the disability quota the corresponding fees are Rs 480, Rs 530 and Rs 630.
How does choice filling work in DCECE counselling?
After the result you register for counselling, fill your college and course choices in order of preference, and lock them. Seats are then allotted by merit and choice. If you are allotted a seat you report to that college for document verification, medical fitness check and fee payment within the dates on the allotment letter.
Which documents do I need at DCECE counselling?
The prospectus checklist asks for your 10th and 12th certificate, marksheet and admit card, caste certificate where applicable, EWS income and asset certificate where applicable, character certificate, income certificate, Application Form Part-A, photographs, Bihar permanent residence certificate, Aadhaar card, and the servicemen or disability quota certificate if you are claiming either.
What happens if I do not get a seat in Round 1?
Vacant seats move into the later rounds, including a mop-up round. Closing ranks usually go deeper in those rounds, so a rank that missed in Round 1 can still get a seat. Keep watching the BCECEB portal and take part in every round you are eligible for.
How are seats reserved in Bihar counselling?
The Bihar reservation applied in DCECE is 40% unreserved, 18% EBC, 16% SC, 12% BC, 10% EWS, 3% reserved-category girls (RCG) and 1% ST, together with a 5% disability quota for candidates certified with at least 40% disability and the servicemen quota. The disability seats are counted inside the total seats, not in addition to them.
